Over the years, Al-Khayriya Organisation has supported a range of community, educational, health, humanitarian and welfare projects. These projects reflect our commitment to helping vulnerable communities, supporting schools and hospitals, responding to drought, and strengthening community wellbeing.

Orphans Assistance

Orphan Support & Equipment Assistance

Al-Khayriya Organisation provided support for orphans and supplied essential equipment to help vulnerable children and families in need. This early project reflected the organisation’s commitment to community welfare and practical assistance.

Drought Relief

Drought Relief & Emergency Support

In response to drought conditions, Al-Khayriya Organisation supported affected communities with emergency assistance, including essential supplies and community relief support. The project aimed to reduce hardship for families facing water and food shortages.

Education

School Support Programme

The organisation supported Faarahhamed School through practical assistance, including payment support and educational help. This project formed part of Al-Khayriya’s wider commitment to improving access to education.

Public Health

Gabiley Hospital Equipment Support

Al-Khayriya Organisation provided essential items to Gabiley Hospital, including duvets, blankets and other equipment. The support helped improve comfort and care for patients using the hospital’s services.

Education

Timacade University Building Support

The organisation contributed towards the development of Timacade University by supporting construction works, including compound buildings and later hall building support. These projects strengthened educational infrastructure for students and the wider community.

Youth Sports Support

Kalabaydh Drought Response

The organisation supported people affected by drought in Kalabaydh. The project focused on helping communities facing hardship by providing relief and practical assistance during difficult conditions.

Mental Health

Mental Health Support

Al-Khayriya Organisation supported a mental health-related project at Gabiley Hospital. This reflected the organisation’s commitment to health, dignity and support for people facing vulnerable circumstances.

Ramadan Iftar

Afuri Walaalkaa Initiative

The Afuri Walaalkaa initiative became one of the organisation’s continuing community welfare projects. It provides food and support to families, particularly during Ramadan, helping vulnerable households share in the blessings of the month.

Education

School Support: Qaloday & Ashabur

Through the Afuri Walaalkaa programme and wider education support work, Al-Khayriya Organisation supported Qaloday School, Qaloday Islamic School and Ashabur School. This continued the organisation’s long-standing focus on education and community development.

Droughts

Drought Response: Water & Food Assistance

Al-Khayriya Organisation supported drought-affected districts with water and food assistance. This project helped communities facing severe hardship and continued the organisation’s emergency relief work.
